I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to find some props for my photo’s I was trying to find just the right things to help bring a normal photograph to a stunning one. I was trying to find an orchid but only came across this wild rose. I didn’t have plans for it’s immediate use, but it just fell into place with Hayleigh, little stinker just has her moments where she does not like my camera, but today she was all ready to go, I was setting up for a different shot and she was all about getting her shot taken, so on the spur of the moment we got a few great shots… this one is just the bomb, what do you think? I know Bobbie is waiting for me to post this link to the additional shots so here it is Enjoy!

I was able to get a new subject to the studio this afternoon, Carolina is one of my many nieces, she was more than willing to give me a wonderful smile and worked with me as I adjusted the lights and made a little studio magic… HERE is a small gallery of some of the shots from this wonderful (yet playful) angel. Now that I have many new Photoshop CS tricks under the belt I gave some additional tricks to this photo of Vickie, she was complaining about needing a face lift, and botox injections… I was able to help her out and turn an ordinary photo into an extraordinary portrait… A little skin softening here, blemish removal there, cloneing out the age of time. (not to mention that B&W makes or breaks an image) I am very happy with my results. As always I am looking for your comments, I want to know what else you think I need to do to help make my photo’s special.

Well I am sure happy so far this year, 2006 the "year of the portrait" I guess LOL, I have had the chance to shoot many old and new faces so far this year. Everyone has been so nice and I have learned so much with the new studio lights and new Photoshop tricks, I can make anyone look good, I know that is a tall order. OK it's time to put the word out... "I want to shoot you" just get in touch with me and arrange a time. I also love to see that some have been commenting on my photo's here. Thanks to you if you have left some feedback.

50th Anniversary for James and Romie this year, I was able to shoot this couple here in my home studio, I have included some shots here from all those years ago, they were in rough shape, but with the help of Photo Shop CS2 I was able to get useable results. additional shots can be viewed HERE:

Well I have had a chance to get Taylor to pose again for me... This time we had the studio lighting at out disposal, she started off playful and stayed that way through the shoot, after a couple outfit changes she was getting serious...
