Through the Grass

Here is Raven, I shot her a few weeks ago and I over looked this image for some reason, the color version is just not right but when I went to black & white it just popped! her eyes seem to be mezmorizing and I can't stop looking at them...

Lighting, 60" octabox camera left, strip 9x36 strip box behind and camera right, hair light on boom... shot at ISO 100, 1/250sec @ f/8 used my 17-40mm at 35mm hand held black & white conversion done in lightroom, highpass sharpening technique and Kodak digital gem airbrush filter applied and as always I added a vignette.

Johnny Apple Seed

I was able to come up with this shot for this months photo challenge at SilverLake I had a good time putting together the shopping list and then the setup and lighting of the scene, I have been working on all new tricks I have come across for Photoshop... I think I am getting the hang of it :) I was reminded of my mom when I picked out the red checkered cloths as this was something she always loved we had this type of decorating in our house as I was growing up. as always feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think of my latest project.
