I want to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped me, either here in the darkroom or just in life in general, you know who you are as I try to give thanks as each event unfolds.

Today as I am thinking of days past and things that have changed my life, I do miss those that have passed from this life but as long as we don’t forget them they are never really gone.

Later today we will gather for the family meal, I love the fact that we will be hosting the event here at home and all the kids should be here. The family in it’s self is a living being, that is ever changing, we lose those that are dear to us and new ones take their places.

We do have a new one added this year being little Hunter, and thank goodness we have not lost anyone this year. Will we be as lucky next year? I hope so but as time goes by and we get older fate has its plan for us and we will just have to see what the next year brings.

There has never been a more proud moment in my life to see Ashley with her diploma. It has been an uphill climb for a couple of years getting her life back on track and making so many changes to get where she wanted to be.

This dad believed in her and knew all along that she would make a good name for herself. She has had such a battle to get this and now it is her time to shine.

I salute you for all your efforts and look forward to seeing more and vaster achievements in your life, you know Dad loves ya’ and has always been there for you.
